Despite falling behind 5-0 in the early going, the Reds, behind two Brandon Phillips home runs, mounted a furious comeback to defeat the the Brewers, 12-8. Phillips' homers, one of which was a grand slam, and a two-run blast by Edwin Encarnacion picked up starter Dave Williams, who allowed six earned runs in three innings.
