Reds can't slow Marlins
Marlins 12, Reds 6
Adam Dunn breaks his bat swinging at a pitch from Jason Vargas. (Tony Tribble/ AP)
Despite hitting three home runs off an array of young Marlins pitchers, the Reds were unable to cool the sizzling Florida bats. Left-hander Eric Milton struggled throughout, giving up nine runs on eight hits with three walks in only 4 1/3 innings. David Ross, Rich Aurilia, and Edwin Encarnacion each homered for Cincy in the losing effort.
