On the weekend of September 6-8, 2013, the members of the Big Red Machine's fabled Great Eight starting lineup reunited at a Reds-sponsored event for the first time since 1976. The occasion was the dedication of a statue of Joe Morgan at the entrance of Great American Ball Park.
To celebrate the historic reunion, the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame received permission from the Cincinnati Enquirer to print a limited number of this photograph that depicts the Great Eight at Riverfront Stadium in 1976, posing in front of an oversized National League All-Star ballot.
Each member of the Great Eight: catcher Johnny Bench, right fielder Ken Griffey, third baseman Pete Rose, second baseman Joe Morgan, first baseman Tony Perez, left fielder George Foster, center fielder Cesar Geronimo and shortstop David Concepcion, has signed this photograph.
The Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame certifies the authenticity of these signatures.
The signed edition of this photograph is limited to 100, individually numbered copies. Purchase yours today!
