Reds-Jays game rained out

On Saturday, Cincy to play Boston, Toronto to face Detroit

SARASOTA -- Friday afternoon's exhibition game between the Reds and Blue Jays was called because of rain.

The game, which never got under way, will not be rescheduled. Eric Milton was scheduled to pitch for Cincinnati against Toronto's Roy Halladay.

Fans can exchange today's ticket stubs for tickets to any of the Reds' exhibition games scheduled for Sunday vs Atlanta (1:05), March 24 vs the Phillies (1:05), March 28 vs the Pirates (1:05), March 29 vs the Twins (7:05) and March 30 vs the Devil Rays (1:05).

The games Thursday vs the Yankees and on March 26 vs the Red Sox already are sold out.

Grapefruit League play will resume on Saturday, with the Reds traveling to Fort Myers, Fla., for a 1:05 p.m. ET meeting against the Red Sox. Righty Kyle Lohse will start as scheduled for the Reds vs. the Red Sox. The Blue Jays will host the Tigers in Dunedin, Fla., at 1:05 p.m.

Reds left-hander Eric Milton and right-hander Matt Belisle are scheduled to pitch in Minor League games on Saturday in Sarasota.
