Mets add Atchison and Wheeler, disable Turner
The New York Mets today announced the club returned righthanded pitcher Scott Atchison from his rehabilitation assignment and reinstated him from the 15-Day Disabled List, and placed infielder Justin Turner on the 15-Day Disabled List, retroactive to June 17, with a left intercostal strain.

Mets select RHP Torres from Las Vegas, option RHP Burke to AAA
The New York Mets today announced that the club has selected the contract of righthanded pitcher Carlos Torres from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League and optioned righthanded pitcher Greg Burke to the 51s. To make room on the 40-man roster, the club designated righthanded pitcher Collin McHugh for assignment. Torres will wear #52 and will available for tomorrow's game.
