Rockies on the mound: Brian Lawrence (1-1) allowed five hits and three earned runs in six innings for the loss. He struck out four and walked two while allowing a pair of solo home runs to Byrnes. Taylor Buchholtz, Jeremy Affeldt and Manuel Corpas each pitched scoreless innings in relief. Cactus League records: Diamondbacks 16-9; Rockies 13-10. Up next: The Rockies will send Jason Hirsh to the mound Monday against the Oakland Athletics at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. Ramon Ramirez and Tom Martin are also slated to get mound time for Colorado.
