Reds at the plate: Chris Denorfia's broken-bat single to center field scored the tying run in the bottom of the ninth inning. After a wild pitch, non-roster catcher Ryan Jorgensen followed with an RBI single up the middle for the game-winner. Adam Dunn was 2-for-2 with two singles. Mark Bellhorn's RBI single through the right side scored Cincinnati's first run of the game.Pirates at the plate: Ronny Paulino hit a two-run triple to center field in the first inning. Andrew McCutchen had two hits. Pittsburgh scattered 11 hits in the game. Reds on the mound: Fifth-starter candidate Bobby Livingston allowed two earned runs and eight hits in 3 2/3 innings. Livingston walked one and struck out four. Rule 5 Draft pick Jared Burton allowed one hit over 1 1/3 scoreless innings. Rheal Cormier pitched one scoreless inning. Pirates on the mound: Shawn Chacon also worked 3 2/3 innings. He gave up one earned run and five hits with one walk and one strikeout. Sean Burnett worked two shutout innings with one hit, two walks and two strikeouts. Damaso Marte worked the ninth and gave up the two runs on two walks, two hits and a wild pitch. Grapefruit League records: Reds 12-3; Pirates 6-9.
