Brewers Community Foundation, Inc. is proud to offer three scholarship programs to Wisconsin Students. All scholarship applications will be submitted online.
- The Allan H. Selig Scholarship Program was created in the name of former Brewers President and current Commissioner of Baseball Allan H. (Bud) Selig. Funding for the scholarships is the result of proceeds donated by Major League Baseball, from the All-Star Workout Day, part of the 2002 All-Star festivities held at Miller Park. Selected candidates will receive $2,500 annually, renewable each year for a total of $10,000 over four years.
- The Players/Coaches Scholarship Program is made possible thanks to Milwaukee Brewers players' and coaches' commitment to educational opportunities for youth. This scholarship is a one-year award that varies in amounts from season to season. Generally scholarship awards have been between $1,000 and $2,500.
- The Miller Park Community Scholarship Program provided its first award in 2013. Eligible applicants must be a minority or female student residing in either Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington or Racine County. Applicants must also be a student pursuing studies in a design-or construction-related field at a technical college, college or university in the State of Wisconsin. Scholarship awards will be of varying amounts based on need.
Brewers Community Foundation offers fans the opportunity to purchase scoreboard messages at least 2 business days in advance of Milwaukee Brewers home games. Subject to availability, requested messages will be displayed on the Miller Park scoreboard during said game (typically, but not always, between the 4th and 5th innings). Consistent with BCF's mission, all proceeds are strategically extended to support nonprofits that provide quality programming in the areas of health, education, recreation, and basic needs here in Greater Milwaukee and Wisconsin. In 2016, the program raised more than $16,000 used to positively impact the lives of local children and their families. More >>
Since 1987, the Student Achiever Awards Program has recognized over 550,000 students in grades 7-12 for academic achievement and academic effort in over 750 schools in the 10-county area of Southeastern Wisconsin. More >>
