Reds longtime radio man Marty Brennaman made a vow earlier this season that if Cincinnati won 10 games in a row, he would completely shave his head. The Reds won their tenth straight on Sunday and Mr. Brennaman will be doing the deed this Friday.
If fans raise $20,000 for the Reds Community Fund, Marty will shave his head on the field post-game. If donations don’t reach $20,000, the veteran announcer will cut it all off in private.
These cardboard cutouts have been appearing around Great American Ball Park as a preview of his future look.
