Warren County Sheriff's Dept. to take delivery of new Toyota Tundra from Great American Ball Park10/04/2011 10:15 AM ET
On Friday, Oct. 7 at 10 am, the bright red Toyota Tundra that has been prominently displayed at Great American Ball Park all season will be delivered to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, compliments of the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Toyota Dealers.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Department won the Tundra on Sept.16 at Great American Ball Park when Reds manager Dusty Baker spun a prize wheel during pregame ceremonies. The Warren County Sheriff’s Department was one of eight local law enforcement agencies vying for the Tundra.
The 2011 Tundra has been at the ballpark since Opening Day, waiting for a player to hit the “Hit It Here” sign located under the PNC Power Stacks in right field. One lucky fan was picked each game as the possible winner. Since a Reds player did not hit the sign, the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Toyota Dealers wanted to donate the truck to a police department.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Department is located at 550 Justice Dr., Lebanon, Ohio 45036.
