Thank you for purchasing tickets for this year's Scout Day! We are excited to have you at to the ball park for a big day filled with a lot of activities. To help you out with all the details, please read the information below:
Scout Parade: There has been a change from the original send off for the parade because of the Joe Morgan and Great 8 ceremonies on the field so we will need everyone ready to go from the wiffle ball field in the Fan Zone located on the Southwest corner of the ball park at 11:40 a.m. (You may want to enter the right field entrance for easier access, gates will open around 11:35 a.m.)
Scout Hats: Using your specially marked "Scout" ticket, you will need to go to the Scout Table located near the fan zone stage to pick up your hat, if you are picking up hats for the troop or pack, you will need to bring everyone's ticket with you. (1 ticket = 1 hat). This table will be open from when gates open at 11:35 to the end of the 5th inning. (If you are planning on taking part in the parade, please pick up your hat afterwards as the parade will leave soon after gates open)
Run the Bases/Dugout Tour: For those wanting to participate in the post-game run the bases and dugout tour, there will be announcements towards the end of the game to start organizing at the fan zone stage at the conclusion of the game. Once there, there will be a short announcement from the Reds and the Dan Beard Council, then we will escort everyone into position for running the bases.
Movie: Once you are done running the bases we start sitting folks in sections 129-131 to watch the movie. Once everyone is done and settled we will start the movie! Once the movie is done, you are free to go!
We are excited for another exciting day for the Scouts to take advantage of activities in the ball park not accessible to most! Please note that there will not be any concession stands open for the movie.
If your group is participating in the Parade, please email the pack number to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will mention as many as we can as the parade is in route.
