Anyone age 30 and older who wants to have the greatest week of their life playing alongside some of their Cincinnati Reds heroes from the past and leave the cares of the world behind.
The average age of participants is 47 years, 3 months; however, we see participants ranging anywhere from 30 to 80 years old.
We find that there are many levels of talent attending the camp. Some participants have not played since high school, and others are active through softball and other physical activities. You won't be the worst, and you won't be the best!
The program is constructed to be FUN! You do what you can. It's not boot camp; it's baseball camp. We use the Reds big-league physical trainers. These guys are FABULOUS, and they are there for us all week long.
See the Reds Greats Attending page for a list of former players that may attend. Their actual attendance is based on their availability and prior contractual obligations. Please be assured that there will be PLENTY of former Major Leaguers present!
Yes, you do! You will have your very own Cincinnati Reds uniform, with YOUR name and number on the back, plus all of the uniform components (hat, belt, undershirt, socks, etc.)...and a Reds clubhouse jacket!
Your purchase price includes double occupancy. However, if you prefer a room to yourself, there are a limited number of single hotel rooms available for an additional $500. Single rooms are based on availability.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. A typical camp is approximately 96 participants on eight teams.
