Teams 
The Reds Urban Youth Academy (RUYA) is an urban baseball and softball training academy established and operated by the Reds Community Fund. The academy was opened in 2009 and provides free, year-round baseball and softball instruction to youth ages 8-18.
The academy is currently located at the temporary Clark Montessori High School, site of our existing RBI fields - Brandon Phillips Field (baseball) and P&G Field (softball). It offers an array of clinics for baseball, softball and coaches. In addition to operating training clinics, the academy offers an indoor facility for youth teams to utilize during the winter months.
The academy operates on a year-round basis under the direction of the Reds Community Fund. Academy expansion discussions are currently underway between the Reds Community Fund and Major League Baseball to establish our local academy as an official MLB UYA site. More details on future expansion will be coming at a later date.
