Commissioner's Community Initiative

The Cincinnati Reds partner with Major League Baseball on the Commissioner's Community Initiative which distributes tickets to community and civic groups that may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend a game. Hosted by the Major League Baseball Players Association, Players Give Back is an opportunity to give back to community partners in the non-profit field. This program recognizes the contributions these local organizations give to the community. The Commissioner's Community Initiative and the MLB & Players Give Back ticket program together provided more than 100,000 tickets to deserving groups throughout the 2016 season.

Aaron's Aces

For the first time since 2010, former Red Aaron Harang is honoring local military families with an invitation to Great American Ball Park for each Sunday home game. Over the past six seasons the program was sponsored by Jay Bruce as Bruce's Battalion. Guests will enjoy a Reds game from the Sun/Moon Deck, be recognized on the scoreboard and receive concession gift cards and custom-made military style Reds caps, featuring Harang's signature. The Reds partner with UMPS CARE charities, a non-profit established by Major League Baseball umpires that provides financial, in-kind and emotional support for at-risk kids and families. The visits include a pregame umpire meet-and-greet, on-field photos and game tickets.
