On Sept. 6, nearly 2,000 athletes and Reds fans hit the streets of Cincinnati for the second annual "Redlegs Run for Home" 5k run/walk. The race is a major fundraiser for the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund, which was established in December 2001 to promote the physical, social and educational development of youth through sports and activities.

Register now for the new and exciting “Inside Baseball” fundraising program! “Inside Baseball” takes place Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Great American Ball Park. Guests meet at the main Crosely Terrace entrance at 9 a.m. and tour the ballpark; including the clubhouses, weight rooms, x-ray rooms, batting cages, sprint tracks and broadcast production compound. Scheduled tours will feature Director of Ballpark Operations, Declan Mullin, as well as Great American Ball Park head groundskeeper Doug Gallant. Admission is $100 and includes lunch at the Diamond Club in the Great American Ball Park, parking, a T-shirt, and a gift bag. All proceeds benefit the Reds Community Fund. The third-annual Redlegs 5K Run/Walk for Home takes place Sunday, Aug. 8 at 8:00 a.m. More than 3,000 runners, walkers and children are expected to participate in this unique community fund-raising activity, which has raised more than $50,000 for the Reds Community Fund.

The Reds Community Fund and Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation host Silent Auction Saturdays in 2004. During all 13 Saturday home games at Great American Ball Park, plus a handful of additional special dates, fans will have the opportunity to bid on autographed memorabilia, game-used equipment and other one-of-a-kind baseball paraphernalia.
