The Reds Community Fund's ladies-only luncheon returned for its third season on May 9, 2006. This intimate and informative program was held in the Diamond Club for the first time with lunch inside and the program out in the seats – some of which are closer to home plate than the pitcher’s mound. One of the highlights included the opportunity to walk on the field and into the Reds dugout. There was also a Q&A session with Reds Manager Jerry Narron and the players and their wives

The main highlight of the event was the "Newly-red Game" (a takeoff of the popular game show), which featured Ryan and Christie Freel, Felipe and Jen Lopez, and Dave and Chelley Williams. The event, as in years past, was hosted by Hall of Famer Marty Brennaman and grossed more than $15,000 for the Reds Community Fund.

Check back in the off-season when we select the 2007 date for Baseball 101.
